Designing Without Design Personality
Manifesto of Design
Spring 2023
Spring 2023
For this project I was challenged with creating a design manifesto that reflected my own design style/personality. At the time, I was feeling somewhat disconnected from my peers, in that I didn't quite have a specific design style – I almost didn't feel like a designer at all. Through this project, I was able to reflect on my process, and how I produce work. It helped me feel more confident as a designer, and I came to the conclusion that you don't always need a design style. Sometimes it can even be an advantage.
I turned my set of rules from the manifesto into a series of posters. Each poster was created within a separate design style/movement
